Thanksgiving with the Haines’ crew! This trip was planned long before we decided to go full-time. Basically, the other locations were simply to stall until it was time for this trip. Only four nights long, but plenty long enough to make some memories. We took a trip to Terlingua one day. Fun fact: The only liquor store in Terlingua is also the only adult store. The owner was quick to meet us outside and suggest the kids stay in the truck. Good call! The kids finally discovered how awesome hiking in the desert can be! Proud momma moment for sure. A new national park magnet was added to the refrigerator.
