Culture! Sand! Sun!
Just wow. What a fun place to visit! We had lunch with a friend from Phoenix, who happened to be visiting. We spent a few days with some family from Washington, who happened to be visiting. Popular spot? Yes. We also made some friends in the park. People were definitely the center of this visit.
We visited the San Diego Zoo, Cabrillo National Park, a few different tide pools, and several beaches. We did see the ship on Coronado, that was recently uncovered due to storms earlier this year, but we should have chosen a day when the tide wasn’t as high. We learned a lot about water levels this trip! The hills of San Diego are absolutely breathtaking! Cabrillo National Park was probably our favorite spot.
