The park we stayed at was HORRIBLE! We will ignore that… and only highlight the positive stuff.
Beautiful, sunny California! What an amazing place. I can see why so many people choose to live there. Though, I’m still not sure how so many can afford it. We visited Monterey and Santa Cruz one day and really enjoyed Monterey. We spent one day in Lodi visiting family and old stomping grounds. Our son was able to see the hospital he was born – one of his biggest wishes for our journey. Done! One final excursion we made was to San Francisco, of course. One of America’s favorite cities and with good reason. San Francisco Maritime National Historical Park is one of the best national parks we have visited! It is so interactive. Even though we’ve been to SF a few times before, we had no idea there was a national park right on the bay. The best clam chowder this trip was consumed in Monterey and purchased at a grocery store no less – Nob Hill Foods. Yum. Thankful for memories made in a beautiful state!
