Don’t you hate it when a campground doesn’t have great internet, but there happens to be a really cute pub in town with happy hour appetizers and internet?! Or, when it was too early for happy hour, driving to the river and working with a beautiful view? Almost daily we had a 4mi commute to the water and a few times to the pub. It was indeed an enjoyable location. Sunsets in camp were magnificent! We even saw a bald eagle! You know, one of the main reasons we hit the road in the first place. Checked one item off the bucket list.

In addition to wonderful work views, we took a few trips into Seattle to visit family. Anacordes is the cutest small town with a weekly farmer’s market during the summer. However, what really captured our attention about this area is the rural farms where you’ll find yummy fresh berries and huge flowers.
