Long Beach wasn’t on our wish list, but the International Kite Festival was a hard stop for Chris’s mom. We traveled together several months up the coast given they do #RVLife too. Dana’s parents from Texas flew out and her sister & family from Washington drove down. Have you ever fit 9 people into an RV set up for only about 5? With a toddler?! We have! It was tight, but it wasn’t the first time and it certainly wasn’t the last. In hindsight, however, this was probably what initiated a Brookstone neck massager purchase one month later. We are too old to sleep in recliners apparently. On the bright side, internet was excellent! We didn’t have too much time for sightseeing given the kite festival and family visiting, but that is okay. At the time we probably would have wished there was more time to sightsee, but looking back these family moments were the best part of our West Coast adventure.
