This outdoorsy, active, super fun family of three is soon to be a family of four with the addition of a baby boy!

While we were in Boise for a few nights, we spent some time with my cousin Tara and her family. We hadn’t seen each other in 15 years, so it was definitely a blessing and thrilled we managed to squeeze in a little maternity photo shoot. Oh, the people and things we are able to see and do on the road! Definitely a perk, and taking their pictures was a lot of fun! Behind the scenes Chris, Cody, and Cierra all helped by either holding the reflector, holding a dog, holding Brecken, making Brecken laugh, etc. Kind of like a circus for an hour, but perfect.

So what do you do with the Copeland family after a maternity photo shoot? You go white water rafting! Mike is a fantastic rafting guide. Tara is a radiant, patient, beautiful, adventurous momma. Baby Copeland is one lucky dude to have these two parents! How long will it be until he is introduced to the white mountain slopes this winter? We’ll find out soon enough!
